The Marlin Ball a stalwart democratic paper while it fully endorses all of Governor Rob- erts acts does not approve ot running trim for a third term and. it admits that there are many democrats in Texas who would not vote for him under any circumstances. It says if he is nominated he will be elec- ted but by a reduced majority. The Galveston Civiliasman turns up his nose and makes a wry face at the idea of using re&ned cotton seed oil for culi nary purposes. It is a diffi- cult matter to overcome prej udice but time will accomplish it and the use of cotton seed oil for cookintr instead of lard will annually save millions of dollars to the South.
