I COULD READ IT WITHOUT MOVING A MUSCLE. [Newspaper Article] — Evelyn Observer, and South and East Bourke Record — 24 August 1883

I OOULD READ IT :WITHOUT ; MOVING A MUSCLE.. ?i The power of good hymns, as a ineans in the hands of God of comforting the ioul, convincing the thoughtless, and leading siinnoes, young and old,to Christ, has frequently been renmarked, and many instances of it could be given. That which follows is attested by well accredited authority. In .a small boarding-house, kept by Mrs. F-, Mr. H-- was one of some twenty guests. He was a'young minrt full'of energy and life, fond of a joke, ndtl just onll of those in. llwhose :mind the cares of time atnd the solemn.i ities of eternity would have small place. : Light-heairted and free, he sought,. in lhis way, to be happy and make others so. It was the Sabbath-day, and most of the inmates of the house had been to church. The sermon had been a very solmn sld searllching oneo, and the preacher had dwelt with imuch iower on the consequences of ia life of 'sit, de picting in Scripture phraseology' thli torments of the lost,n ns a .aywhichl was most im...
