PARLIAMENTARY. Tuksday, Jui.y 22. In the Legislative Assembly. Mr. Humphrey presented a petition from the ohairmairof the board of directions of Mm Australian Keroaone. Oil arid Mineral Company, Limited,; praying that tho Mitta gong Coal-mining Company's .Railway Bill may not pass into law as it now stands, and that petitioner's company may be lioawl by Ihoir counsel against such of the clauses and provisions of the said bill as effect their rights and interests. The petition was read and received. The Crown Lands Bill was then further considered in committee of the wholo. In clause 88 tho annual instalment to bo paid by conditional purchasers was redueod from Is. Gd. to Is. per acre,, aud the b'alanco of 17s. per acro ss to be paid with i per cent, interest. Clause was verbally amended, and new clause 58 was put; but the debate was post poned, in order that tho' amendment pro posed by Mr. Farnoll, to insist upon residen ces upon conditional loases, might havo due consideration.
