At (> p.m. the .scholars sat down to the good things provided, and after having done justice to the full, retired sat isfied. The hall was then cleared, and made ready for the giving* away of the prizes. Short, stirring, and impressive addresses were delivered by a numbei^of speakers from oilier districts connected with the above meeting, all of whom sought to bring before children and parents the need of accepting the gift of Ood, which is eternal life, and the importance of deciding at once for their future welfare. One proposition was received, and 10/ ! was donated towards the funds of the Footscray Creche. The me tropolitan committee and dispensary I delegates gave full reports of last meetings. The syllabus item, shoot ing match against Sunshine A.N.A., resulted in a win for Yarraville by nine points. Next shooting match is against Footscray A.N.A., on 4th August. Members of team are to be at Yarraville station at 7.45, or Soddon station at 8 p.m. The lodge has sengaged the local miniature range for practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
