Alumni Lioyalty . The advantage of an institution of learning of a large body of loyal alumni can be seen from an examination of our catalogue just issued . The College has always had bitter and unreasonable critics and is not without them now , but the confidence shown in her by those who know her best outweighs all noisy complaint . At least twenty-six of the present students are sons of alumni and many more are near relatives , while othcis are sons and near relatives of those who have taken a partial couise . A large proportion of the remainder are here because of the solicitation and influences of present or former students . No other advertisement is equal in value to that which comes in this way . When we examine the alumni list itself we find on it one father who in alter years has five sons , another who has four sons , another who has three sons , two sons-in-law and some of the third generation .
