Wo feel that we are due our renders an apology this week for inadvertantly being led into a controversy with the Curuthors ville Democrat, especially on ac count of the fact that this is a time when the democratic party needs the undivided services of both papers, and their energies should not be spent in lambast ing each other. At present, there are but two democratic papers in the county, the Caruthersville Democrat and tiie Hayti Herald, and in party MTVice they are both working along the same lines for the best interests of Pemiscot county.
