The Hillside furnace at Pioche, Nev., i» running well, and turning out a hundred bars a day. It is said that a mining shaft 1,000 feet deep is to be sunk by capitalists near tJrantsville, Nov. Five stamps at the Silver Nugget, Globe District, A. 1., are said to be turning out over §1,000 per day. The material for a 40-stamp mill on the duster mine, Bonanza City, Idaho, is now on the road to that place. Captain J. K. Owens has built five large quartz mills in the Mack Hills— two <>o stamp, one 80, one 30 and one 120.
