NOTES.

Upper Hutt iully deserved their win, their forward pack excelling, with Jillet outstanding. Skerten at half, again gave an excellent display; also did ' Mc- Carthy. - - ' Clements, at full-back, has, a very safe pair of hands and again played a good game. - , If the local boys keep this class of football going they wil] be a hard proposition. Two- members of the Thirds were promoted to the Junioi ranks, and both players gave a good account of themselves.
