2 OPINION ApSS Guest ViewPoint By Andres Esquivel Jr. ' Have you ever heard a professor say: "Don't be afraid to ask ques- tions. There's no such thing as a dumb question?" At this point in the semester it is important to ask away. A strategic well- phrased and timely dumb ques- tion can use up a valuable lec- ture period which could result in having a chapter or an assign- ment (or if you're lucky a test) deleted from the syllabus. Let's face it there are such things as dumb questions. Usu- ally a geek or a ditzy girl asks them and everyone rolls their eyes but notice that the profes- sor always gives some erudite reply. These naive students are capitalizing on a bona fide tac- tic. The trick is to look sincere when you ask. Faking sincerity isn't as easy as it seems. It takes some serious work. Try practicing on friends. Start off by mouthing a white lie here or there in the morning and by noon go for some real whop- pers on total strangers. But re- member this isn't for fun. Try ...

Rod Pruitt: Bear This movie was unlike what the preview portrayed it to be which fortunately is to its credit It has just the right blend of comedy to compliment the intensity of the drama and is anything but a "fluffy" feel good movie.
