Recent Hospital Saturday. [Newspaper Article] — The Wollondilly Press — 6 June 1906

Reccnt Hospital Saturday. In his report re Hospital Saturday, which was handed in at the hospital committee meeting on Friday, Mr. Stokes the hon secretary, stated that the collec tions amounted to ^146 ios, which was an increase of £11 8s rd on the previous year. This spoke well for the interest •taken by the people, and the enthusiasm of the various committees and the lady collectors, each of whom worked with a determination to make the movement a success. The district was divided into 25 centres; and 80 boxes were sent, out, all of-which were in use. To' encourage the collectors, Mrs. J. B. Hill gave a silver chain pu'rse;for the most: successful •BowraLcollector, and Mr. B.
