Oil Monday ovening last thero was a very enthusi astie gathering of the friends of tlio above gentlemen in tlio Kangaloon Wesleyan Church, the object of tho meeting being to say farewell, prior to bis de parture to tho Naraudcra circuit. The church wao very nicely decorated with fern fronds and flowcrn. Tho eatables wcro provided by tho residents and handed round by tho Misses Noblo, Piper, Kennedy, Jolui3lon and others. After everything had been elearcd away a prayer meeting was held. The Rev. uentlcman very feelingly thanked them for thm'r kindness that evening.
