VICTORIAN DEAF AND DUMB INSTI. .TUTION. iTs the Editor of the lenal4a Ensign. Sir,-Will you allow me to inform your readers that the deaf and'dumb boys under my charge, in consequenco of holrese'no having been for warded us by agreement, were not able to arrive on the 2?th March at Benalln.'" I did my best to keep faith with the publi in terms of the adver tisement which appeared in your paper, and I very much regret the sere disappointment our aon-arrival occasioned. It was thought advisable to proceed at once, because if we had stayed in Benalla on the Saturday evening we must then Pave disarranged our entire scheme as advertised to all the North-eastern papers. On my return I .have made arrangements to hold the meeting as advertised on the 9th April. In behalf of tho Victorian Deaf and Dumb Institution I would parneatly bespeak a large attendance; and I also promise on the occpaion an idterestlng and edify png entertainment. Iage Sip, yours truily A. MOSS, Heon. See.
