The publication of three other papers had been tried here, and for the lack of a healthy support, or on account of mismanagement, each of them soon "went to the wall." These unfortunate failures of them? selves were almost sufficient to de? stroy confidence in the minds of the people as to the continued publication of a newspaper at this place. Many of them had paid their subscriptions and after receiving a few copies, the paper died and the subscribers had to lose the amounts paid in. An experience of this kind natur?...
