At times one wonders where the justice is'' The past several weeks we've seen our county and city officials try every way possible to stretch revenue sharing funds As is usually the case, too many need- and nut enough money Something not only government suffers from these days Recently some of the expenditures authorized by the l S. Congress were brought to my attention Let's look at some of those expenditures keeping in mind the miles of red tape counties and cities must go through to obtain federal grants for such things as drainage projects, sanitation facilities, housing, water quality and so on The outlandish expenditures cited here were actually authorized by the U.S. Congress For example, $6 ,000 has !>een authorized to study Polish bisexual frogs, $85,000 is earmarked to learn about the "cultural, economic and social impact of rural road construction in Poland' ...
