Terrell's Georgetown speech has been mailed to most every voter in Stonewall Co.. and yet not all of that SPKECH was printed on the circular mailed. In that same speech. Judge Terrell in speaking of Bailey's alleged depravity, said "When I think of his (Bailey's) heredity and the environments of his youth I am amazed that he is not altogether depraved:" Judge Terrell meant by this that Bailey's parents were so corrupt and evil that it was impossible for them to train his young.mind in the paths of hon- esty, sobriety and justice. Arthur Mills Badly Hurt, Near Belknap, Young Co. k Graham, Texas, May 8.—At- tacked by unknown assassins shortly before daylight this morning, C. C. Mills of Throck- morton was beaten into insen- sibility, his skull fractured and his head covered with contusions, and his son, Arthur Mills, badly bruised and cut about the head and face. The assailants of the two men are unknown, the at- tack is a mj'stery, and the au- thorities have been unable to se- cure a clue from which to work toward making arrests. At a late hour tonight the elder Mills was still alive, but small chance is reported by the doctors for his recovery. The son is resting easily, and his wounds, while extremely painful, are not likely to prove fatal. Mr. Mills is past 60 years of age. His son is about 25.
