The Deep Lead Murder. FURTHER PARTICULARS.   January 19. Regarding the finding of the headless body at Deep Lead, the correspondent of the "P. C. News" sends the following details:—The   all-engrossing topic at present is the myster- ious murder which has been brought to light. Since the discovery of the headless body in this neighbourhood, on Tuesday last, curiosity prompted me this afternoon to visit the spot where the body was found. I had not much difficulty in finding it. I am not a little sur- prised that the remains were not found long ere this, as the spot where the body was found is not more than but fifty or sixty yards from a well beaten road, on which there is a good deal of traffic—principally by wood carters. I have read the report of the enquiry held yesterday and I took the trouble to-day to examine for myself the spot on which the body was supposed to have laid for nearly two months. Prince Bismark was there fore deputed. Field-marshal Count Moltke, being the eldest member took the President's chair, until a president was elected by the members, which election was carried by the combined Liberals and Conservatives. Their candidate Baron Levezaw obtained 193 votes abainst,148, which were recorded for the liberal candidate Stenffenherg. Prince Bis mark has made some concesions to the clericals and these, with Windhorst as their leader, bave promised support to the Chan cellor, likewise his old friends the Conserva tives will assist him.
