RAILWAY DETECTIVES RAID HOMES. ? ? * — : ? Detectives . fmm the Railway Invefttigation Branch, assisted by local police, raided five houses in Cowra last week, searchltng for stolen goods. Twto men have already beetn ar rested and charged with having goods in their custody, suspected of having been stolen. The detectives took possession of a large quantity of goods, including shirts, boxes of ammunition arid tar paulins. Three of the houses raided were those of railway employees. Investigations, which are still con tinuing, are being conducted by De tective Inspector Jentsch and Detec tive Woods, of the Railway Investi gation branch, assisted by Sergeant Carey and Constable Ellicott, of the Cowra police states the 'Cowra Guar dian'.
