BLAYNEY BUTTER, FACTORY AND REFRIGERATING CO., LTD.. HALF- YEARLY MEETING. The h;df-year!y meeting of this Coinpiny was held in the Town Hall on Tuesday last, to pass tho balance-srtect and elect new directors in place of those retiring. Tliere was a good attendance, of shareholders, A satisfactory statement of affairs was submit ted, During tiie first, month of the Factory's operations, milk and cream, representing 15,334 gallons of milk, were treated, produ cing 4,4801bs., equal to two tons, of butter. The butter was of the highest quality, having topped the Sydney market. The state of affairs was considered very satisfactory, considering the. severe droughts of the. pres ent and last seasons. The price paid to suppliers was 2|d per gallon, and hopes were expressed by the directors that in .creaped, supplies of mjlj^.and oreani will tome in after harvesting is finished. If supplies are materially increased, it will enable, the Company to pay higher prices.
