CORRESPONDENCE THE NAM13R0K MAIL Mr Norman M'Innes has received the following from James Bennett, Esq , M.P. :-In reference to your representations and to the petition from residents of NambioU, urging that a mail service be established be tween that place and Rosedale, in lieu of the existing Nambrok-Kilmany service, and to my letter of the 30th October last, in which it was staud that alternative tenders for the convey ance of mails between Rosedale and Nambrokand between Kilmaiiy Rail way Station and Nambrok would be invited in connection with the foithcoming triennial call, I beg to inform you that no lender has been received for the mail service between the two lastmentioned places, nor for the alternative service between Rosedale and Nambrok, hence the question ol altering the route of the Kilmany service cannot yet be determined. The services will be re-advertised for tender at a later date, probably next month.

On Saturday at Sale wa yarded 25 ; two pens did not reach owners' reserve, and turned out unsold ; baUnce sold very satisfactorily.
