CIHELTýNHII . Before Messrs. Penny and Brown field, J's.P. TIHAT FRANKSTON TRAIN. George Stevenson was charged with smoking in a first class node-smoker, between Carrum anm Frankston, In spector Borsum prosecuting and Rothi man Faloon, . special inquiry officer, giving evidence. Defendant did not appear, and-was fined 20/- and 7/6 costs. H. Warne was charged with having travelled to Chelsea without a ticket. Defendant said he left the train at 3Iordialloc, and came on by another. The Mordialloc -people took the wrong half of the ticket from him. Mrs. Warne deposed that she gave her hus band his ticket at Mordialloc. He had got a few drinks, and evidently gave up the wrong ticket. -A fine of 10/- and 2/6 costs was inflicted. John Foster was charged with in terferinsg with the comfort of other passengers and pleaded guilty. En quiry-offlicer Anderson said defendant was in a half-drunken state, jumping upon the seats and falling over people and making a nuisance of. himself generally. ...
