PUBLIC DINNER TO CELEBRATE   THE RETURN OF THE FIRST RE-   PRESENTATIVE OF WILLIAMS-   TOWN. A public dinner was held at the Williams- town Assembly Rooms, on Wednesday eve- ning last, to celebrate the return of the first   representative of Williamstown in the Legis- lative Assembly. About one hundred gentle-   men sat down sumptuous repast, prepared by Mr. Gallpen, of the Albion Hotel, to whom much credit is due due for the excellent manner in which the arrangements of the table were made . Thos. Mason, Esq., occupied the chair. On the cloth being removed, and the usual loyal toasts having been drunk, the Chairman proposed "The Army and Navy."'
