"Welcome Home'' to Rev. Mr : and Mrs Storrs, j On I hursday evening the annual " at home " was held in conjunction with a " welcome home " to the Rev. W. T. C. Storrs, M.A., and Mrs Storrs, who have returned from a seven months' holiday trip to the Old Land. The school-room was crowded with friends and visitors, amongst whom were a number of old scholars of the School. Mr J. P. Holmes, who occupied the chair, extended a hearty welcome to Mr and Mrs Storrs, whilst very kindly sentiments were also expressed by the Revs. \V. S. Rolland. H. Joyce, G. Perseverance Tent, 1.0. R. _ FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The usual fortnightly meeting of the above lodge was held on Tuesday, 20th inst., when a fair number of the members wa» present. Bro. E. H. Furneaux, CR , occupied the chair. Correspondence was read from the Prahran Independent Church, in viting the members to a special Temperance address to be delivered at the church on Sunday afternoon, the 25th inst., and it was decided to attend same in the official regalia of the Order. As Bro. John Vale is the speaker, it was urged that the members would assemble in Urge numbers, the time for meeting being fixed lor 2 45 p.m. at the Rechabite Hall At 'the conclusion of the business an interesting series of games, ar ranged by Bro. Ten Days' Mission. Iii ' onnecticn with the opening of the new schoolroom, a ten days' mission is to be held, the missioner being the Rev. D. H. Dillon, of Sydney. The mission opens in the schoolroom this evening at s o'clock, and in the Church to-morrow morn ing the Rev. Mr Storrs will occupy the pulpit, whilst in the evening the Rev. Mr Dillon will preach. From Monday to Saturday the mission will be continued each evening in the school-room.

KILDA TOWN HALL. 1 A crowded audience assembled in the St. Kilda Town Hall on Wednesday evening last, to witness the annual display by members of St. George's Girls' Guild. The items of physical culture, games, &c. took place on the greater portion of the (loor space, and visitors were seated around the building, whilst a capital view of the items given were obtainable from the galleries, which were filled. The whole spectacle was an exceptionally interesting one, and the various exhibitions given by the guild excited the keenest of interest and enthusiasm. Amongst the exercises given, which are of a healthful and lasting character, were dumbells, Swedish drill, skipping, poles, marching and running, games and jumping, and hockey ring and basket ball games. The young ladies are to be congratulated on the precision they displayed in going through the various exercises, for which credit is due to the instructor...
