Belgian carrots are superior to ?sugar- beet or potatoes for producing not onlv an inercasi d tlnw. but also fur adding lo the butler-l'at, and he says this, notwithstanding the arguments that have taken place 011 the question, and the contention of many scientific and .practical men that, while it was possible to increase the volume of milk the percentage of butter fat is not altered.
