IMLAFS BANK NOTE REPORTER PUBLISHED WEEKLY AT- TWO DOLLARS PER ANNUM. THE necessity that exists for more frequent intelligence for geneial security, regarding Banks and Counterfeit Bank Notes, has long been evident, and never more so than at the present moment. The interest of the community suffers by delay, and for their own protection requires prompt, early and frequent information of a reliable character. This deficiency will now be supplied. It must also be admitted that Bank Note Detectors are in the hands, too frequently, either of persons entirely unacquainted with the Bank Note business, or who are immersed in other pursuits to an extent that a settled indifference to. the wants, expectations-, and necessities ofthecommunity becomes the stereotype character of the publications. Centre Counly, within two miles and a half of the terminus of the Allegheny and Bald Eagle Railroad, and known as the M0SHANN0N TANNERY. '•This well known establishment is constructed on the most approved plan, and is provided with all the MACHINERY, necessary for the manufacture of Leather-at Ihe least possible cost.' It contains about 45 large Lay-away Vats, 6 Letches, with limes, Hide Breakers, Roller, Bark Mill,,and Conveying Feels, Sweat House, Bark House, Currying Rooms, &c., all of which are so arranged as to manufacture Leather according' to all Ihe most modern improvements.
