PRUSNA Maps Future Policy Controversy Rages on Question Temple Dean Keynotes Convention Of usnsa Affiliation with ius As 150 Assemble for Plenary Session Affiliation of USNSA with the International Union of Students has been one of the most hotly-debated topics in NSA's short history. After many hours of discussion last year, the Constitutional Convention voted to send a four-man negotiating team to the annual IUS International Assembly to discuss affiliation of NSA with IUS. On March 1, NSA announced tions of its interim representative! and had withdrawn its negotiating team. This action followed a series of incidents connected with the Czechoslovakian coup. Controversial Question This announcement touched off a storm of controversy. Delegates will be confronted with the question of whether or not NSA is shirking responsibility to the world student community in terminating relations with IUS. Group Visits Student Unions Alter a week's tour of five student union buildings in mid-west colleges, members of a sevenman committee were unanimously impressed with facilities, according to George Donvan, student union manager. Others on the trip were George W. Ebert, director of physical plant; James McCollum, chairman of the All-College Student union committee; Frank Morris, administrative . assistant to the treasurer; William K. Reed, assistant manager of TUB; Ridge Riley, Alumni Association executive secretary; and Charles Ward, consulting architect. Hospitality and cooperation were enjoyed by the group at the Universities of Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin, Michigan State College and Purdue University. Complete tours were made of each building, with the counterpart of each committee member accompanying him, Donovan said. College Gets Housing Units College Plans _^adio Prog ra m Feature of the seven-day recreation schedule just released is an audience participation show to be broadcast over WMAJ from Schwab Auditorium at 8:30 p.m. Monday. The show was arranged through the cooperation of radio station WMAJ and the Recreation Office. A half hour warm up program will precede the broadcast. Everyone is welcome to attend. There will be no charge for admission. A dance at the TUB Friday is the big week-end event. Music will be furnished by the Pied Pipers. Dancing will be from 9 to 12 p.m. The price of admission is 50c per person. Saturday night the spotlight swings to Rec Hall, where an evening of entertainment has been planned.
