'jJ3T".We learn from a private source that, in the case of fatterton vs. Brvtotdow, for libel in tbe court of Knoxville, the jury was dia charged, having failed to agree. It waa ua dTstood that the jury stood, two for and ten again the plaintiff. In another case for dam ages growing out of the same matter, the jury were also enable to agree. . Theatre. Mr. Hacxett closed hla brief engagement at the Gaiety, Saturday night, impersonating the part of Sir John FalMaff, in the comedy f "The Merry Wives of Wind sor." The audience was numerous, and highly delighted with the performance. At the close Mr. IIacsjett was called for. lie appeared and returned thanks in an appropriate little speech.
