Comet: The total number of cattle admitted in to the territory by George Wil liams, while inspector at Seven Rivers, was 16,200. Socorro Bullion : The Gila cat tie company shipped to Kansas City on Monday 200 head of first class beef steers, an initial lot. The company is now rounding up 2000 head for immediate shipment. John Taylor, the prophet, seer and revelator, and president of that world-famed matrimonial bureau, the Mormon church,passed through Albuquerque, the other evening, eng route to his home in Salt Lake. The Two Republics, published at the City of Mexico, and the leading and most influential paper in Mex ico, has the following to say in re gard to the followers of Brigham Young: "The tread of the Mor mons'is still' heard in the land. Prom up Sonora way comes the news that Brigham Young, jr., re cently arrived at Hermosillo from this citr. He is reported to have secured a valuable land concession from the federal government, and it is said that colonization will imme diately commence. This can only signify that the Mormons from Utah are to be the colonists. Can the government fully realize what this means? It means that the whole Utah colony, which has been such a disgrace to American civili zation, will be transferred to Mexi can soil. The people of the United States will rejoice over the rid dance.
