r J MP c X w k lf e jpv THE PALESTINE DAILY HERALD Entered intho Palestine Texas Postofflce as SecondOlass Mail Matter Published Every Afternoon Sunday Excepted W M AND H V HAMILTON JR t ELEPHONE GETTING HER REWARD At the last session of the city council by resolution of Alder man Dubose and passed without a dissenting vote the printing of the city delinquent tax list was awarded the Dail3 Visitor B3 city ordinance it is made the dut3 of the mayor to get bids for the cit3 prining It appears that this patronage is a sort of hand out or reward to the Daily Visitor The Dail3 Visitor published for mer delinquent tax lists for the city and did so without bidding on the work and no other paper was given an opportunity to bid on it The 1901 publication made less than a page was published four times and the Visitor was allowed for same 2G550 of the citys good 11101103 by warrant issued Nov 111901 The Visitor will print a page ad a whole month for onetenth of this mone3 and does do it Editor...
