THURSDAY. FEBRUARY 5. 1976 THE BASTROP COITKTY TIMES SMITHV1LLE. TEXAS PAGE S Educators Of The Week Aides Are Teachers Too Educators can be found in many places. At home, we call them parents, as school they may be teachers, prin- cipals. custodians, admini- strators. lunch room workers or aides. These educators come in many shapes and sizes. They are also "good" "better", "best". and sometimes the fit no cat- egory. As in most schools. Smith ville Independent School has all these kinds a. educators. The "Educator of the Week" column has been attempting to acquaint the citizens of Smhhville with the staff of the school. Many parents work and do not have the opportunity to meet all those involved in the education of their children. They are in- terested in knowing the people who work with their children. Scoring only 9 points in the first period and 13 in the second, it looked like the Bears were cruising for a bruising at the hands of the well- disciplined and accurate Wildcats. Tight defense and good rebounding on both sides contributed to the low score with both Allen Hubert and Frank Alexander turning in excellent defen- sive performances.
