APRIL 1982 SACH3E,TEXAS THE 8ACH8E 8ENTINEL PAGE 18 Texas Bald Eagles Celebrate Their Year This year has been hailed by the National Wildlife Federa- tion as "The Year of the Eagle," and bald eagles in Texas appear to be responding to the 200th year of their ac- ceptance as the national bird by making extra efforts at reproduction. Biologists of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Depart- ment already can account for 12 nesting pairs of the national bird, the greatest number recorded since the pesticide dif- ficulties in the early 1950's. Such insistence to stay on the nest is interpreted as a good sign that the birds either have eggs or young, he said. One ne...

Bullock said people who buy a mobile home will obtain a "document of title" from the Texas Department of Labor and Standards instead of reg- istering it as a motor vehicle and obtaining a "certificate of title" from the Dapartment of Highways and Public Trans- portation.
