' BUNGEET. When returning from l3ungeet to Wangaratta last Thursday, Mr. Nf, J, Sheridan, of North Wangaratta, no. 'ticed snmoke issuing from a wag gonette some distance ahead, and a little later, the vehicle burst into flames. Mr. Sheridan hastened to assist in extinguishing the fire and then found a lad vainly endeavouring to put out the blaze. His shirt sleeve was alight, and if it were not for the timely arrival of Mr. Sheri dan there might have been serious conseOluences. In a few minutes the fire was got unler control, and the damage comnsisted of a slight burning of the vehicle and the loss of a numiber of uacke.
