Owing to the holi days the only sale which will be held during during Xmas week will be on Friday, 27th inst?, the next market to that being Friday, January 3rd. A large supply of cattle was yarded at the Maitland yards on Monday, consisting of a conplo of lots of primo heavy bullocks, medium lightweight bullocks, and steers, with the usual number of cows. Bidding was brisk for prime, aud values slightly bettor, but others remained unaltered. Prime and weighty bullocks sold I from iE10 5s to JBH 4s, prime .£9 5s to .£10, good JJ7 15s to .£9. medium £6 5s to £7 10s, steers £o to ifi, primo cows ^£6 10s to .£7 10s, good £5 to Jifi 5s, medium from -£t, and inferior from ,£3.
