MINERS' RIGHTS AND VOTING AT ELECTIONS. Tin time bas como when miners and traders must renew their miner's rights and business liconsee for tbe year. We particularly call attention to tbe circumstance that these docu ments, or either of them, give to their pos sessor an important privilege, besides tbe right to mine for gold or carry on business on a gold-field. Tbo Constitution of the country gives to any person who bas held either of thtse documents for a period of six months a right to vote at an election for a member of parliament, for the gold-field elec toral district in which be resides.
