Exporters of cattle at the Union Stock Yards were given a surprise , this morning when Dr . Dyson of the Bureau of Animal Industry announced that ha had received an order from Washington dlrestlng that on and after Feb . 1 st all export cattle will be tagged at the port of embarkation Instead of Chicago as at present . It is purely a matter of convenience . said Dr . Dyson . It shippers would sort their cattle here and make up the shipment aa they intend it to go , we could do the tagging as at present , but the trouble lies in the fact that they dont know who they Intend to ship to or what they Intend to ship until they reach tidewater .
