Production of crops fell just six-tenths of one per cent below the 1948 record . A J- Pollard , Acting Market Administrator of the New York metropolitan milk marketing area . The actual price for December , 1954 , was $ 4 39 per hundredweight Dr Pollard also estimated that the producer butterfat differential for the month would be 5-4 cents for each tenth of a lb of fat above or below the standard 3 . 5 per cent .
