The supply of cattle was light but more than enough to meet the de mand. Shippers "were slow to take hold on account of the unsettled con dition of the eastern markets and the local trade was well supplied.- The market was mean and only a few cattle changed hands. There is very little demand for any kind of cattle at pres ent. Hog receipts large again today. Everything sold but the market throughout was 2 1-2 cents lower than yesterday on packers' grades and 5 cents lower on heavies. Market closed steady. WIOHITA LIVE STOOK MABKBT. "Wichita. Kaiu July 3.
