The first was a match for two hun dred dollars, mile beats, between M igazine and 1,ola, and was won by the former in three heats. The second rare, three mile heats, for a purse of five hundred dollars, was a very exciting one, and called forth spirited betting, the three favor ites, Itonseu, Jioe Johnston and VeIt having been entered.
