New Madrid, Mo., Sept. 24. In dictments against six men charged with murder, many other bills against ieroiif) alleged to have been implicated in various crimes in thin city and all of the county tax books and drainage papers were lost in a Are which destroyed the County Courthouse here this morning and which the authorities are convinced was of Incindiary origin. The blaze was first discovered nt 2 o'clock. It was then confined to the loft of the north end of the build ing directly over the Judge's bench and the pigeonholes containing the legul paper. Efforts were made to extinguish the H imes, but tl ey spread beyond con trol, and within nu hour the entire building was in ashes.
