Republican Convention. The Mariposa Republican County Convention met at the Court House, in Mariposa, on the Bth inst., pursuant to call, ami organized bv calling E. <1 HALL, of Hornitos, to the Chair, and appointing J.C' Hopper, Secretary. A committee of six were appointed to nominate delegates to the State Convention of the 18th inst., who reported the following names, and they were unanimously elected to represent Mariposa County in said Convention : Messrs. B. F. Bachman, Chas. H. Knox. J. S. Bates and R. McCaffrey. On motion, the Chairman appointed the following County Central Committee for the ensuing year, riz : B F. Bachman, Chas. F.. Peregoy, James l'ettit, A. H. Washburn. J. C. Hopper and R. T. Williams.
