Here and There. Further complaints are being nmde in sorno of the country districts at the difficulty in obtaining railway trucks. During a storm at Miles in Queens land, on Tuesday, a dwelling was blown down, and an elderly man named Charles Schultz was killed. James M'Crackon a West Austra lian miner, has been shot dead by a comrade it is alleged accidentally. It is said on good authority that Mr. Prank Reynolds will continue to; breed thoroughbreds at Tocal for sale,., for -.though they were not knocked down to him at the recent distribution of the famous stud, t-l>o brood mares Algerino, Chlorine, Equation, Sweet liviar, Salutation, Ta Ta, Welcome Qucenie, and Medalet were purchased on his account. Tne Missing Bank Teller. The missing bank ttller, William H. Woodfall, 20, who has been the subject. of anxious so .rc-h by the' detective police, rind by Uio otiiciuls of the Union Bank of Australia, has been ,arrested at Toowoomba, Queens land. W-jodfnll was employed by the bunk referred to us tidier in the Qri;iifeil branch. Ho went to Sydney to view the inaugural celebrations early in January ; but did not return, and investigation showed that £4100 was also missing. The detectives in Sydney traced Woodfall to a Brisbane bound steamer, and then wired to the capital of the northern city to have him arrested, but a reply was received to the effect that he was not on the boat. Since then all I race of him up till Wednesday last was lost.
