FAIRFIELD RIFLE CLUB. The half-yearly handicap aggregate, which resulted in a tie between Anderson and Fry, was decided last Monday on thc three ranges, and resulted in a win for Fry; also the V.R.A. medal, which was fired for on that day, was won by Fry. Last Saturday at Williamstown the first stage of the " Potts" trophy wa~s fired (500 yards, with handicaps). The following were the scores:-Hyslop 40, Stewart 40, Whitehead 410, Riedle 38, Pettit 37, Russ Bowdler 36, Gronoess 35, Ford 33, Whillin 34, Anderson 34, Robinson.34,. F. Bo-dler 34, R. RIFLE CLUBS. FAIRFIELD V. IVANIHOE. A very enjoyable evening was spent on the Fairfield miniature range, where the local club met Ivanhoe Rifle Club. Each club had 15 men aside, but 12 to couut, with 6 shots oi each target. The shooting was rather in favor of Fairfield right through, but considering it being tile first time on this range, also using strange rifles, the Visitors put up a good average sscre. H-airry Greiiaess was top scorde for Fiiriicldi, lith a fine record of 58 oit:of a possibl ii0, while A. Burrell was hglhoest scorer for Ivanhoe, with 54. The total os oics ,nere: Fairlield, 618; Ivani0ho, 583. Tfliubest scores were: Pairfield. -Grenness, 58; fyslop, 55; Fry, .55; Whitehead, 5.5; smith, 55.
