PRO SPECT US. OF TUB HARRISBURG CHRONICLE. There being nothing which so much enhances the value of a public journal as early and faithful news, the editor and proprietor of the. Harrisburg Chronicle lias made such arrangements, as will not fail to make his paper equal, if not superior to any other in the p lace, during the ensuing year, in this particular. The sessions ot the State Legislature the coming session, promise to be unusually interesting. The policy ot the new State administration, must excite curiosity in the minds of all such as take any part in the politics of the day, inasmuch as the friends of the new Governor have found much fault with the administration of Joseph Ritner, though one of the best Governors Pendsylvania ever had; and it remains to be seen from what this winter will develope, whether the people have made a wise change.
