Our County Convention elected to-day delegntes to represent the IJomoerncy of this county in the Fourth of March Convention, nnd instructed them to support Jamkk Buchanan for the Presidency. Although every effort was used to obtain a different result, the attachment of our people to their former distinguished representative in Congress for whose services, they are justly grateful, and of whose talents they are as justly proud, w;is too strong to be . overcome. ;The names of the delegates are John Ralston, Samuel Davis and John Hickman.

Old Mother Cumberland. CintisLE, Feb. 1, 18-18. Our County Convention was composed of 10 delegates. Bochaxas had 32,-and Dalias S. The delegates are A. Smith McKinney, Esq., and Wm. R. Gorgas, Esq., both strong Buchaxax men, and instructed unanimously for him. The resolutions passed unanimously. Every thing passed off harmoniously. The Senatorial delegate recommended, is Dr. J. Baughman, from this county. Perry had the delegate last year.
