THE RANDALL COUNTY NEWS Abort! On Creamery Operators The following is taken from a recent bulletin of the Agricultu ral and Mechanical College of Texas: Charley E. Alvord, professor of agriculture of the A. & M. " College of Texas, has many in quiries about the creamery bus iness and in every letter he is warning local committees against high priced schemes. In a letter just issued Mr. Al vord gives detailed information as to what is necessary and at the same time issues a warning agaiast ''schemes" and "promot-; ers." The letter says: "I would advise you, by all means to ateer clear of any pro moter who offers to build you a completely equipped creamery at prices ranging from $4,000 to $6,000. You should be able to build a creamery sufficient for your needs, complete in every respect for a cost of not over $3, 000 and I believe that $2,500 will be sufficient. I assume it is my duty to promote the dairy in dustry by advising the building of such plants that show reason able pros...
