Mammons Accidently Killed A most deplorable accident oc curred Saturday resulting in the death of H. J. Mammons. The eight year old son "of. Dr. Boggs was out with a twenty-two caliber target rifle when Mr. Hammons came along with his team and wa gon and told the lad to "jump in" as he was going the boys way home. In order to get into the wagon the gun was pushed over the endgate and in falling on the bottom of the wagon box the ham mer struck exploding the catridgc. The ball entered Mr. Hammons just under the left shoulder blade and penetrated the seat of life. Death resulted instantly. The remains were cared for by Undertaker M. H.
