IN A HAUNTED ROOM. A Slngnlnr Experience Which Shook a Man' Belief In Ghost. "There is no such thing ns ghosts," said a Chicago drummer. "I used to think that maybo spirits did return un til about a year ago, when I was stop ping at a hotel in a small Iowa town. Then I was ' convinced that they are only apparitions. Dr. Tal teflee preached an unusually attractive end eloquent gospel sermon to a crowd id audience, who listened with rapt in terest. The subject was "The Lightning of the Sen," the text selected being Job xll, 82, "Ho mftketh a path to shine after him." If for the next thousand years minis ters of religion should preach from this Bible, there will yet be texts unexpound ed and unexplained and unappreciated.
