The former, seven feet and two iuche-i in height, was here on busi ness connected with his profitable stock and raining interests, and the latter, weighing in the neighborhood of four hundred pounds, was trading off some of his surplus gold for the necessaries of life and incidentlly riding the goat, secoud round, in one of our leading secret societies. Chas. Lemman, one of our pioneer citizens, will leave about November 1, for Attica, Lapeer county, Mich., for • month's visit at the old home where liia only sister, Mrs. Electa Rice,whom lie has not seen for over twenty-five years, still resides.
