WEDDING.   On Wednesday morning last, a very pleasing ceremony was performed by the Rev A. P. McFarlane, at St Paul's Church of England, Franston. This occasion being the marriage of Miss Isabel Davey, second daughter of Mr W. Davey to Mr Brion Walker of the firm of Cliff and Walker, con- tractors, Frankston. Shortly after eleven o'clock the bride made her appearance, attended by her brides-   maids. The church presented quite a   bright appearance being decorated   with evergreens in the windows and   round the lamps, there were also three arches of the same. The bride looked all that could be wished for on the occasion as she walked beneath them. ITEMS OF NVEWS. ON Friday the Masonic Lodge, Frank= ston, will hold a lodge of emergency at the usual hour. Afullattendance isrequested. Tis members of the Social Tent I.O.R. Frankstosi, have decided to hold their annual picnic to-sday at Balcomb's Creek. The members and their friends will be conveyed from the Temperance Hall, to the pleasure grounds, and a good atten dance may be expected. Vehicles will bein attendance at the Hall at 8.30 a.m. ON Monday last a pleasing ceremony was conducted by Rev G. P. McFarlane at St Paul's Church. Frankston. The parties interested were Mr James Hough and Miss A. Williams. second daughter of Mr G. Williams, of Playne-street, who entered into the blissful state of matrimony. .DROJIAVNA. (FROM OUR OwNS CORREnSPONiET.) The local tent of Reichbites cele brated its eleventh anniversary on Thursday evening March 6th, by a tea meeting and social. The former was held in the Temperance Hall, whilst the latter was conducted in., the Mechanics Institute. The giodthings provided for the tea meeting were duly appreciated by all present. At the social a long programme was very successfuiy carried through. Mr T'. Smith M.P., the District Chief Ruler of the Rechabite Order in Victoria, presided. Stirring addresses were given by the chairman and Mr T. Henderson of Berwick. The follow ing ladies and gentlemen also con tributed to the evening's amiusements and their efforts were fully appreciated by the audience:-Misses Shields, Brodie, Shaw, Findlay, Mr and Mrs Rigg, and Mr Banks.
