On tbe return home one of tbe number, I John Biggar, was shot above tiro knee I through the accidental discharge of a j revolver; Last week, at Bellambi, one of Yee Hup's Chinese employees was holding a fractions horse, when it knocked him down, the wheel pf the vegetable cart going over bis chest. When the Chinese got up he' said 'l^e die ! nie die !' The doctor arrivedr ^and it was found the injuries were not seriouS, when the grateful heathen exclaimed ' Me no die now !' ? Somp very large -bamboo rods came, ashore at Bellambi last week. Some measured up to eight yards.
