Alexandra Presbyterian Sunday School Picnic. On Wednesday last, under perfect weather conditions, the annual pioenic of the above was heldl in the pictures qu- grounds adjoining "Tl.e Mount," and all present 'were agreed that it was a ddeided succers. 'Th'l ratten dance, which incellced representatives from all denominations, was estimtated during the afternoon, and totalled up wards of 350 persons. Young people were specially catered for in sport and were kept busily occupied during the whole day, thanks to the management of the pastor and his wife (Itev. A. and Mrs Macdonald), the teachers and members of the congregation. Various kinds of game were indulged in by both young and old and thu outing wam thoroughly enjoyed accordingly. An excellent lunch, afternoon tea and ten was provided for by the parents of the children and others, to whom the best thanks of the management are due. After tea, the Rev.
